Thank you to the Uplands Way Veterinary Clinic!

What an amazing feat! The team from Uplands Way Veterinary Clinic came up with the idea of a 60-mile endurance walk to raise funds for OSF. They have raised a staggering £1,850 towards their target of £2,000. If you would like to support their tremendous efforts and help them reach their target, their MyDonate page is still open.

The team, Kathryn Trett, Claire Overall, Rebecca Rivett, Janine Healey, Lindsey Frasier and Rachel Hearn walked non-stop for 26 hours to raise money for Our Special Friends. They walked day and night from Great Yarmouth to Billingford, near Diss for 60 miles on Saturday 23 September, with on-hand support from Sarah Kelly and her dad Andrew Kelly throughout the day. Kathryn Trett, organiser and walker, said ‘We started at 6am on the Saturday and finished at 8.30am on the Sunday stopping only to fuel up and nurse our feet.

We are so grateful to Kathryn and the team for this fantastic contribution. Our work is not possible without fundraising efforts like this. It means that we can cover the costs of emergency veterinary care, volunteer expenses and other essential running costs.
