Our Special Friends charity… at a glance

Our Work

Our Special Friends has helped nearly 2,700 cases since its inception in 2012
We have provided support to around 2,250 individuals
In 2022-23 we had 469 new cases this represents 1-2 new cases every working day
It currently delivers support to an average of 150 people at any one time through a network of trained volunteers

Our Volunteers

We are helped by roughly 100 volunteers every month
12,500 hours donated by our volunteers in 2022-2
329 volunteers have donated their time since 2010
40% of these volunteers are still with us
